From the Principal

I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are glad to be back at school and ready to make the second half push. Parents, teachers will begin to push a little harder to make sure our students are ready for the end of the year state testing. In the past, this test has been called the PASS, this year it is called ACT Aspire. The SC State Department of Education has adopted this test for 2015. At the bottom of this column are some important dates for January. A couple of events, I want to bring to your attention. On January 22 and 26, we will be joining forces with Doby's Mill Elementary to give parents the chance to learn more about the ACT Aspire Writing test. On January 22, the meeting will be at Doby's Mill and the 26th meeting will be at Blaney. Parents can attend either meeting. Both will begin at 6:00

Students can wear hats to school on Fridays for a $1.00 donation to Relay For Life.
