From the Principal

My favorite week is book fair week. We are having our spring book fair this week. Next week we celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America on March 2. Reading is an important part of being a lifelong learner.
Our reading challenge this year is to read 50,000 books by May 15. We are less than half way there. Encourage your child to read and if you read please send a count of how many so we can add them to the overall total.
If we reach 50,000 books, I plan on racing 500 laps around the front in a go-cart.
