Biography
This year I am celebrating thirteen years in public education! I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Minot State University (North Dakota) and an M.S. in Elementary Education: Improvement of Instruction from The University of Nebraska (Omaha). Additionally, in 2002 I earned National Board Certification in Early Adolescent English Language Arts. Currently, I am pursuing an M.Ed. in Educational Administration through the University of South Carolina. My credentials include elementary, middle school, and gifted endorsements.
On a personal note, my husband Gene and I have been married for 29 years and are the proud parents of Meredith (married, social worker for Hospice of South Carolina, 26 years old) and John ('09 Clemson grad, credit manager with Wells Fargo Financial, 22 years old). We are the proud grandparents of Clara Elizabeth Williams, age two! My hobbies include reading, walking, and Clemson football.
