This is my eleventh year in education. I began my career in Orangeburg Consolidated School District 5 teaching 5th grade at Howard Middle School and then 3rd Grade at Marshall Elementary School. In 2004, I moved to Kershaw County, which is home for me, and began teaching in the Gifted and Talented Program (SEAGUL). I was also the curruciculum support coach at Leslie M. Stover Middle School.
This is my second year at Camden Elementary and it is truly a joy working with the children, parents, teachers, support staff and community members at our school.
I graduated from South Carolina State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. In 2003, I graduated from Columbia College with a M.Ed. in Divergent Learning. I also have an Ed. Specialist degree in School Leadership and Administration.
My motto is:
Together Everyone Achieves More!
On a personal note, I am married to Bryce Goodwin and we have two children.
